The We the People Club is pleased to extend an invitation to Supervisor of Elections Leah Valenti to join us as a featured speaker at our upcoming meeting on July 4, 2026. The focus of this special Independence Day gathering will be election integrity and important updates regarding changes to election procedures that voters should be aware of ahead of the upcoming Primary Election cycle in July.
As election laws, processes, and technology continue to evolve, we believe it is essential for the public to hear directly from our local elections office. Voters deserve clear, accurate, and timely information about how elections are administered, what safeguards are in place, and what changes may impact participation in the upcoming primaries. Our goal is to foster transparency, civic awareness, and informed engagement among citizens.
Supervisor Valenti was previously invited to speak before the club but was unable to accept at that time. We understand the demands of her office and appreciate her service to the community. With the primaries approaching in July, we are hopeful she will consider joining us on this occasion to share her expertise and provide clarity on election-related updates directly affecting voters.
