We the People Club meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 PM at Mission BBQ, 1340 Tamiami Trl, Port Charlotte, FL. We start the meeting promptly. Please order your food before 6PM and enjoy it at the meeting.

Politicians and Candidates for public office get max 30 minutes to present themselves and their campaign, followed by questions from the audience and the We the People Club questions. Any questions from the Club that are not answered by the candidate at the meeting will be emailed to the candidate within 24 hours. The candidate has 5 calendar days to answer the questions and return the answers by email to the Club President. Subsequently, the emailed questions and answers will be posted on our Blog and shared on social media. Declined questions and answers will be posted as well to provide transparency for voters.
All other speakers will have max 45 minutes speaking time followed by Q&As. Any questions from the Club that are not answered by the speaker at the meeting will be emailed to the speaker within 24 hours. The speaker has 5 calendar days to answer the questions and return the answers by email to the Club President. Subsequently, the emailed questions and answers will be posted on our Blog and shared on social media. Declined questions and answers will be posted as well to provide transparency for voters.
