Yesterday, the candidate presenting at our forum received the remaining questions from the community. They now have five days to provide complete responses.
It is crucial that candidates respond directly to each question in a clear Q&A format, rather than providing general statements or attempting to shift the narrative. Direct answers demonstrate transparency and honesty, which are essential for building trust with voters. Serving in public office is a position of public trust and virtue, and those seeking office have a responsibility to be accountable not only to their supporters but to the entire community they aim to serve. Avoiding or deflecting questions undermines this responsibility and makes it difficult for voters to make informed decisions.
Once the candidate’s responses are received, the full set of questions and answers will be published here on the blog. This ensures voters can clearly see the candidate’s positions, compare answers across all candidates, and hold them accountable for their words and commitments.
